About Eden Park
THE TRUE STORY BEHIND EDEN PARK
In 1987, five rugby players broke the established codes of amateur sport to embark on an unprecedented and unique adventure, full of madness and audacity.
The brand’s journey began in 1987 when Franck Mesnel and Eric Blanc, two international rugby players from the prestigious Racing Club de France, decided to create a high-end clothing brand. Combining their creative and offbeat spirits, they founded a brand inspired by an extraordinary and authentic story.
Driven by their love of paradox and attention to detail, Franck Mesnel and Eric Blanc crafted a genuine Eden Park style, with the iconic Rugby jersey at its heart.

Discipline
Discipline is integral to rugby, both on and off the pitch, reflecting respect for the Laws of the Game and the sport's fundamental values. Our meticulous manufacturing process ensures outstanding quality and durability in all our products.
Respect
Respect for teammates, opponents, match officials, and all involved in rugby is fundamental. We strive to provide every client with the attention, service, and assistance they deserve, making each feel unique.
The French Flair
The French Flair embodies creative French know-how and that certain "je ne sais quoi" which inspires every garment we create. Recognizable by our symbolic logo, the Pink Bow Tie, our creations emphasize quality fabrics and unique details. We skillfully blend contemporary style with our distinctive identity, securing our place as a leading brand in the high-end sector.
Our new store concept, modern and Parisian, reflects this flair with minimalist design and Haussmannian references like herringbone-style chevron flooring.
Why the Pink Bow Tie?
“The idea of the Pink Bow Tie was born in the 1987 season before the French Championship final, during a strategic and lively dinner. We needed a symbol for our state of mind and the historic day, something to celebrate in our ‘Number One’ attire – a tuxedo. The pink bow tie, inspired by our mascot, the Pink Panther, and the pink underwear we famously wore in some matches, was the perfect choice.”
Franck Mesnel and the XV de France
Franck Mesnel's remarkable career includes:
- 56 selections for the French national team
- Vice world champion title in 1985
- Four-time winner of the Five Nations Tournament
It’s only fitting that Eden Park is the elegant partner of the XV of France.
